1. The Employer Firewall

When an organization sponsors EQ OS seats for its teams:

• Employees sign in using their own personal Google or email account.
• The voucher code redeemed is the only connection between the employer license and the user. The voucher table stores zero personal usage data.
• Employer reports display only high-level anonymized aggregations for cohorts of 8 or more participants. They never show individual names, specific feeling words, reflection texts, or whether an individual accessed a tool on a given day.

2. India DPDP Act Compliance & Data Sovereignty

Built strictly to the standards of India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act:

• Data Hosted in India: All user database records are stored in managed, encrypted PostgreSQL facilities within the Mumbai region (ap-south-1).
• Row-Level Security (RLS): Personal records are cryptographically locked to your private user ID. Even server operations require authenticated bearer scopes.
• Granular Consents: Each permission (saving check-ins, saving chat history, notifications) is opt-in and can be individually toggled or revoked at any time.

3. Zero AI Training on Your Personal Text

Drishti, our AI companion, is accessed via enterprise APIs with strict data protection agreements in place:

• Your conversation drafts, Calm My Reply texts, and reflection logs are never used to train public AI models.
• Unsaved drafts are strictly held in device memory and wiped when you close the session.
• Chat history is retained only if you explicitly toggle it on in your Profile.

4. Full Data Export & 7-Day Account Erasure

You have complete ownership of your emotional history:

• Export All Data: Download your entire record history at any time as readable JSON or a printable summary.
• Delete Account: Initiating an account deletion completely purges your personal data from live production databases within 7 days, with automated backup expiration.
